Pros

One of the largest gateway and acquiring companies in North America I love the people I work with, and the satisfaction of my job.

Cons

DB&A's involvement is leading the company to failure. Elavon is known for amazing service, and micro-management is smothering employees. I feel I cannot effectively do my job because I am forced to spend so much time keeping a very detailed tracking sheet accurate. Exceptional work is not recognized (which I have grown used to), but this new micro-management strategy makes going "Above and Beyond" a NEGATIVE thing in our metrics, leading a WORSE experience for our customers. Reading from DB&A's reviews on this website, they are not there to help the company, but create an environment so stressful people leave. And our talented people WILL leave if DB&A is not REMOVED.

Pros

None that I can think of for the lower level employees. Great if you have a degree. Lots of perks for the day-shifts.

Cons

Training was by osmosis - in other words there was none. Opportunity for advancement was non-existent. Schedules set in stone.

Pros

1. Job is secure, don't have to worry about being fired. 2. Fun activities from time to time. 3. Employees are friendly. 4. High security for the type of business they do.

Cons

1. Poor senior management, people are promoted based on "favoritism" not about job performance. People get promoted into positions that have absolutely no experience or knowledge. 2. Not very rewarding, working hard doesn't get recognized. 3. It's all about who you know and how you act. (like everywhere else) 4. Training is very poor. They will train you on things you should have learned 6 months ago.
