Pros

EA has great people which makes it a great place to work. It also has awesome facilities and a good benefits package.

Cons

The accounting and finance systems have many issues and make it difficult to obtain data quickly. The system issues are driven by poor communication & involvement across the user communities (100% preventable).

Pros

Working in the gaming industry is a heck of a lot of fun. The people I've worked with have (in general) been very qualified, and have been great colleagues. Benefits are pretty good and there is lots of flexibility to set your own schedule. Good career advancement if you are willing to work hard for it.

Cons

Management is always chasing the hot thing of the moment, can never settle on anything. Company is extremely segmented/compartmentalized, leading to a lack of alignment on many key issues. Relatively poor salary compared to other companies in the area. Super long hours near milestones that are often unrealistically defined.

Pros

Chance to work on some top class video games and work with some very very smart people. Very good benefits and pay is pretty good .

Cons

Terrible work hours. Work to life balance goes awry very fast and stays that way for long. Lot of bad people who seem to be in charge of making decisions. Time management and scoping go wrong most of the time.
