Pros

Coolness factor is quite high No lack of technological bandwidth: you ask for it, you can get it, if you can figure the system out. Experience at EA is well respected outside the games development community

Cons

Extremely poor management. it is as thought they have found a way to take all the bad aspects of software development management and games studio management and put them together.

Pros

Incredibly talented and brilliant developers Develop Triple A titles Great network of people to share with and learn from in the DD discipline. Established performance review process with monthly 1-1s for feedback, and to discuss any issues. Casual work atmosphere with flexible schedule around appointments Fantastic recreational perks - gym, indoor basketball court, outdoor soccer pitch, workout classes, etc

Cons

Current leadership has made some bad business decisions that have cost the jobs of thousands Massive organizational changes Poor communication from senior management about how the overall goals/targets of the company are translated down to the game teams Out of touch leadership and with communication skills
