Pros

Good co-workers to work with. Can learn alot of processes to make you strong producer at producing tangible results. You learn what is important to consumers from a company that is good at delivery. You learn what it is like to design "inside the box"

Cons

Such a large company that there is a lot of red tape to deal with in any position. Inconsistent promotions across teams. Not all individuals evaluated against same parameters.

Pros

- benefits are very good - if you're at the right place at the right time and are good at what you do you can enjoy decent career advancement - technology sharing between studios

Cons

- management roles are not clearly defined - bonus pool funding is mysterious. its based on some "plan" that is not communicated. - large managerial overhead - due to poor hiring practices from years ago some people find themselves in positions that they are not adequately suited for

Pros

Basically, everyone around you loves videogames, and that was nice.

Cons

I worked there after a merger from a larger company, and the loss of individual identity was fairly alarming.
