Pros

You have the opportunity to work on some great IP's! A lot of talented entry level and mid level co workers that are amazing to work with and

Cons

Threats of layoffs and studio closures always looming! I won multiple awards and was even honored company wide for my achievements/contributions and was still laid off. I wasn't even considered to be placed on another team. Mid/Sr level and executive members in positions of power that are clearly inept and have no buisness being in such roles. The CEO is a buisnessman much like the other Massive studios of today. He doesn't care about creating meaningful experiences, or inovation. Just how quickly can we churn out the next shallow experience of a major IP to milk the consumer with preditory Free to Play monetization strategies that have no buisness being in a Premium AAA title game, to apease to shareholders. You are nothing but an expendable drone, unless you really know someone in a Sr or Executive level position well, and still you won't be safe from the layoff hammer. It can be a fun place to work but be careful!

Pros

There is great passion about the products. Most people who work here want to create great games. Sometimes, they are critical because they really care that consumers like the games and want to do better. That atmosphere is very good for morale and company culture. There are also many events and arrangements to make work as least unsufferable as possible, such as free stuffand merch, snacks, parties, etc. Offices are very nice and in good locations. Working from home is common. *Most* people are inclusive, kind, and helpful.

Cons

The fact that consumers dislike the company does depress morale somewhat. Management is a club of people who scratch each others' backs and failure is forgiven if you are in the club. If not, minor failures are terminable offenses.
