Most of the negative comments from past employees are those that could not handle working in a professional environment where they are accountable for performance. The new leadership team is Canada have done a great job at weeding out non-performers and changing the culture for the better. They care about their employees and making Element a great place to work.

Cons

Nothing really. Sometimes the pace doesn't allow for uninterrupted vacations

Cons

Going through transition for 3 years and it's still not done. HR is rude. No management, they just run in circles. Largest snow storm in 7 years, 16 inches, and still expect you there.

Contrary to other reviews, GE culture does not dominate. Nothing remains of what was once a wonderful place to work. Experience, tenure and performance are no longer valued or appreciated. Neither is going above and beyond for your team. They have been replaced by favoring the Yes Men and the underperforming That know how to suck up to keep their job. Management cannot be trusted. The “new” systems put in place are inadequate for what is needed to do the job efficiently and effectively. People dread coming to work and, for some, the environment and stress is actually making them sick. Benefits are not great and whatever you do, don’t get sick.
