Pros

- There're still some good people who you can learn from - Lunches provided - Next to 101

Cons

- Benefits are worse then they used to be. Health benefits/401k are on the budget cut - Bonuses are being cut here and there, there was a 50% cut just because - Changes on immigration policy - they won't start processing GC before you worked for 1 year at least - Work you to death. People literally leave with health problems - Random laying off people - PTO is unlimited on paper, in real life you have to go and ask VP if you wanna get 2 weeks. - Average pay, impossible to get a raise - Stocks worth nothing with all of the funding the company's got - Absolutely 0 money spent on employees skills development - Working over weekends is a regular life, of course no one gives extra day off nor it's paid - Force marketing people to put all of the 5 stars review here

Pros

I work in engineering. Colleagues are smart, and work environment is great. There is lots of potential for growth, as there are virtually no competitors, and companies rely on technology from the 90s for supply chain management .

Cons

Growing pains, recruiting is happening fast and they need to catch up with getting more space, and organize onboarding.

Pros

Lots of dogs, food, dogs, coffee, snacks, booze, and dogs. The dogs are cute; the other amenities are up to par. Some superb people and no duds. Excellent spirit of co-operation. Market opportunity is massive and company is well positioned to take advantage of it.

Cons

Not everyone likes being barked at (by dogs, I mean). Hiring good people in Mountain View is very hard. Result: adding offices around the world, in countries whose accents make for very different kinds of English. It is also going to be tough to maintain corporate culture. Code base (the part I saw) needs more tests and better documentation. To be fair, management is well aware of the need for tests. As an engineer, I had few opportunities to experiment.
