Great training, good pay in comparison to other companies, and they promote from within. You get a work phone that is a smartphone with unlimited data

Cons

You work in human services aka burnout and still not enough money. If you are not union you do not get raises

Pros

clients and their families are great-helping others is why I chose this job.

Cons

Management hierarchy is missing several layers in the DD division, which directly and negatively impacts the lives of the people we serve and the employees who work tirelessly to improve conditions. No one seems to know what is going on in management, huge responsibilities for the little they pay you, they do not appreciate anyone rocking the boat and calling them out on human rights violations. I would not allow any member of my family to live in a group home operated by Eliot CHS.

The job was very stressful and easy to work extra hours w/out extra pay.
