Pros

Positive team culture and work environment. Beautiful location in the Rocky Mountains - great for skiing, hiking, biking. Amazing community for people with kids. Great earned day off schedule - every other weekend is a long weekend with Friday's off.

Don't waste your time here

Pros

Time off, banked overtime, scenery

Cons

1920's coal camp conditions. No holidays until your second year. Glencore got rid of employee share purchase and now meal tickets. Dirty filthy dusty environment and 7 months of winter. Minimum 2 hours unpaid bus ride. You will get some type of silicosis or black lung. Most long term employess get lung cancer. Miserable grumpy co workers. Not enough pay for the terrible work conditions. Stay in town you will make just as much at the end of the day.
