Pros

- Flexible working hours. - Udemy and Pluralsight accounts. - Snacks, happy hours, company events, etc.

Cons

- Job definitions are wrong! The company looks for .Net or JAVA Developer but you will end up developing websites through CMS/platforms such as Demandware, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitefinity, etc. Furthermore, you may encounter worse that is entering content to sites and manual testing (I think this is not the best option for software developers). Therefore, be careful about the job descriptions, ask detailed questions such as: what is the technological stack, what is my responsibilities, give me 2 examples of Jira ticket assigned to a software developer, etc. - Most of the developers have spent their valuable time by waiting to be assigned a project. It will take 6 or 9 months and for that period they don't have a concrete plan for you. Rarely, you will start to work on a project in the first month. Again, ask this in your interview and try to get a concrete answer. They said to me you will start on a new project and after six months, the team size will increase to 5 or 6. However, the project didn't started! They hire more than the need and they don't say in the interview. - Many people left the company after I started. In the interview, they say that we are growing, but in reality, many people are not happy with their condition and looking for other opportunities. - The company has difficulty in attracting talents. They have lost existing talents. - Be careful when trusting management. Ask questions, get detailed answers.

Pros

1) Meal card - 600TL 2) Working from home opportunity 3) Transportation support - €80 (Not available while working from home) 4) Network infrastructure in the office is quite good 5) Happy hours, free drinks and fruits 6) English courses for people who needs to improve their language skills 7) Company has a full-time english teacher. 8) Since you will work with the other Emakina offices in the other countries timezone differences might be useful for you.

Cons

1) Management is not trustworthy, can do anything anytime anywhere in any condition without questioning. Old management was great. 2) Because of the pandemic salaries converted to Turkish Lira from Euro with 7 currency rate while it was 7.8. 3) Location is bad. Aegeon free zone is not proper place for IT company. Depark was quite ok. 4) Company has a growth plan but somehow its getting smaller day by day. 5) Half of the office is always empty for years. That also shows management's planning skills. 6) Company lost lots of people after salary decision. 7) If your project is canceled, you can get fired and changed laws in the country has 100% support for that. 8) Company is not working with the latest technology. If you apply for a Java Developer position, get ready to be CMS developer.

Pros

Flexible working hours, as long as you do your job no one checks you Working with foreigners is fun Great kitchen, beverages, fruits Dedicated English teacher, you can get private/group classes Happy hours, playstation room International business trips

Cons

Management is not trustworthy, they always giving promises without keeping them. Management decreased salaries "permanently" and showed Covid-19 as an excuse for that. Terrible location for a software company. It's located in an industrial area which is not a good environment to relax. Be aware that they are going to hire as a "CMS Developer", not a Software Developer. Every project depends on a CMS and it slows down your personal improvement. Company lost a lot of talented developers which means they don't have any plan for the future. You waste a lot of time during meetings, sometimes it occupies your whole day.
