Pros

Beautiful location to live (in Prescott Arizona).Excellent compensation.

Cons

Not much grown opportunity for some positions (in Prescott), more opps in Daytona. Difficult to buy or build housing - very expensive even for houses older than 25 years. To build is now at 16+ months.

Work/life balance, great benefits, earn your degree tuition free, great people to work with!

Cons

Salary could be more competitive. Pre-COVID they were not very flexible with days in which you needed to be home (sick child, etc) and you had to take PL. During COVID we were able to successfully transition to remote/WFH. Post-COVID they are requiring us to return to the office (which is really dated and depressing). Very unhappy people! It seems like a archaic system for such a future-thinking university!

I had a wonderful time working here. As an employee you almost always have an opportunity to work with other departments and expand your knowledge base. Every day was a new challenge, but I had a great group of coworkers that were more than willing to help.

Cons

Lots of rapid changes made. The culture between campuses is still distant and somewhat toxic towards each other.
