      Great company to work for with huge business growth possibilities

      Pros

      Can work remotely, take off when you want and work times that aren't the typical 8-5 hours. Best and lowest health insurance premiums I've had. The office is new and nice with restaurants, building services and onsite parking.

      Cons

      During the 90 day probation period you will have to work in the office. After that 2-3 days are worked in the office for team meetings and lunch & learns.

We’re also devoted to building a solid team environment where staff have the opportunity to engage with others outside of their current projects. To nurture a balance of team building and flexibility, we designate “Team Days” where all staff work from the office and participate in knowledge sharing sessions like Lunch & Learns and Talk Shops. Team days tend to lead to socializing after work as well.

      Pros

      The right team of senior leadership and development talent are in place and it's an exciting time for this team's success and continued growth. Processes are valued but never prioritized over production efficiency. Remember when you were excited to go to work every day -- This place has that feel. People are accountable for their work and so no micro-management is needed. Schedules are flexible and work-life balance is valued. Great office location and building amenities. Moving into a new space soon!

      Cons

      Current office space is shared which doesn't support the full potential of our culture but that is changing soon.

We're excited to share that, as of this past March, Emergent Software has moved into our new office location and is no longer sharing office space with our sister company. This new location gives us the much-needed space to grow and build our own team culture. At the time of this comment, we're six months into the move and already planning our next expansion. Its exciting times for the Emergent Software team!

      Great team attitude. Experienced developers that will be enable company growth. The opportunity to participate in a unique, positive culture.

      Cons

      Office space is crowded because of growth. Looking forward to the office space moving and expanding.

      Thank you for your review. As mentioned in other comments, Emergent Software has now moved into a new dedicated space and is no longer sharing office space with our sister company. We were in transition mode there for a while, but have now settled into our new place and we're loving it.
