An abundance of opportunities to learn - more outside than in the classroom

Pros

A student will discover interest and skills in an area they had no idea they liked or existed. Boston is truly you campus while at Emerson. It's the most amazing experience. Students learn from both professors and each other. As an alumni people often describe you being so good because "she went to emerson"

Cons

So much is learned outside the classroom that grades are sometimes weaker and that doesn't translate well for grad school.

Emerson has a dynamic atmosphere. There are many exciting opportunities here. Vacation and matching retirement funds are both excellent benefits working at Emerson.

Cons

Incredibly smart and talented staff and faculty, good benefits, challenging working environment.

Cons

Modest salary for entry level position, day-to-day work can get very hectic, company can take a long time to get logistical matters and approvals taken care of.
