Good benefits. Decent pay. Advancement based on time and skills for levels 1-5. Small potential to advance to district manager. Any higher would require a move.

Cons

Being On- Call means your pager goes off at 2am and you have to respond to a customer site immediately and may have to drive several hours to get there and work up to 14 hours to correct the issue before being released to go home or get a hotel. Then 8 hours later after you get home they are bugging you to go on another call. It's not always like this, but it can be, and for several days in a row. And working weekends is mandatory. You will work 2 weekends every month and be on call for a third probably. Can you say Burn Out? I finally did after 13 years.

If you are self driven, always something interesting to do. Social interaction after work every couple of months. City leagues are supported. On site company training.

Cons

Work is as needed. Some projects are days or weeks, some are months. Management priorities may impede actual production or progress flow.

Pros

Dynamic environment. Lots of challenges. They talk a good game. Decent health benefits (not great) Decent salary (not great) We strive for and achieve mediocrity.

Cons

There are more #1 priority projects than you can count on two hands. How can you focus on that many things and succeed? Employees are their number one asset - they place a high value on development and training. That's what they say but they fall short. If you're on the fast track life is grand. Most departments have little to know growth or development opportunities. There are no career tracks. They openly admit they aim to be slightly below average salary wise. If you're looking for money they want you to look elsewhere. Your best raise will be the one when you get hired. They hire in fairly competitively but do not keep pace with raises. (Salaried - Can't speak to hourly/shift workers)
