Pros

You're on your own after about a month in your own truck. Insurance after 45 Days, Vacation after 90.

Cons

You will do ALL the work with most Co-Workers. Regardless if you been there a day or a week. You will do the hard labor. Some people in management will help you, but most only care for themselves. DSDs are pain in the neck and they can make it to where you will miss your cut off time no matter what. Another thing, Salesmen are retarded. You will drive literally out of your way for one case to a restaurant when you were there the day before. Salesmen will throw you under the buss as well. Oh and when you go on your own for the first time, prepare it to be 2 1/2 hrs away to places where you have no idea where they are and gps has no signal and miss your cut off time because your manager wont answer the phone to help you, after that you will be wrote up for basically trying it your first time and not being on time due to their fault.

Pros

ALOT of overtime and free beer

Cons

Come it at 5 pm office don't have pick tickets and invoices ready until 5:30.then the manages don't make no one start pulling until 6:00. Then the first truck doesn't get loaded until 7:00 or later then we work till 9:00 take lunch and work till we get done which is usually about 6:00 or 7:00 am. The drivers start coming in at 4:30 no one helps us then 1sr shift comes in at 6:30 and they hide in the other warehouse till we leave and we are expected to not break no cases and never be late the night managers litterly do nothing all night then whine about being here till 6 or 7. If you have a family at home I do not suggest work on second shift Herr it will put a lot of stress on you and your family. But 1st or driver is gravey at this location

Pros

Real laid back atmosphere, which is good and bad.

Cons

Too many ! The delivery associate is a salary based position for 30k a year. Most days are typically longer than 12 hrs because the route planners have no experience. Overnight staff rarely has trucks loaded by 6am. Driver routes are way too spread out for Atlanta traffic. Then the check in process from a long day is done by only 3 people. Drivers who have already finished their route must wait on other drivers to be processed before even reaching the warehouse check in area. This may take 15 - 45 min daily. After the return process is completed, you must find a manger to let you out the building because your not giving card access to exit the building in comparison to the office staff. You start at 6am and could finish at 7pm. Management has no prior experience.
