Adelphoi Village has an ok benefit package.

Cons

Adelphoi Village used to really care about the employee and the employees family, over the years they are moving away from that and you are just another number. As an enviroment that is hard and stressful I feel it is a shame they are getting away from this.

It felt good to make a difference in the kids lives

Cons

Over worked and underpaid for the work. Expected to practically be a therapist without having any real training. The company has overall rules but each individual unit follows their own based on what the director or shift supervisors feels works best. Often times left alone with too many kids to watch for one person to feel safe; overnight or during the day. Company policy of ratio to worker is ridiculous, especially when dealing with a unit with several physically abusive kids.
