Administration and coworkers are supportive and have the kids' best interest in mind .

Cons

There are no cons; I am 49 years old and have worked at a lot places throughout my life and Adelphoi is by far the most satisfied I have ever been in a job; I absolutely love coming to work!

It felt good to make a difference in the kids lives

Cons

Over worked and underpaid for the work. Expected to practically be a therapist without having any real training. The company has overall rules but each individual unit follows their own based on what the director or shift supervisors feels works best. Often times left alone with too many kids to watch for one person to feel safe; overnight or during the day. Company policy of ratio to worker is ridiculous, especially when dealing with a unit with several physically abusive kids.
