Pros

Great company to work for. Caseworkers and supervisor Chris Gresko are good people to work with.

Cons

Only the fact that if there is anything going on it is in the Greensburg and areas surrounding, and we cannot get to because of distance. We are in the Huntingdon County area. That is the only con I can think of.

It felt good to make a difference in the kids lives

Cons

Over worked and underpaid for the work. Expected to practically be a therapist without having any real training. The company has overall rules but each individual unit follows their own based on what the director or shift supervisors feels works best. Often times left alone with too many kids to watch for one person to feel safe; overnight or during the day. Company policy of ratio to worker is ridiculous, especially when dealing with a unit with several physically abusive kids.
