The work is not difficult. Overtime is expected, depending upon your department. The paycheck is consistent.

Cons

The people you work with are often drug addicts or desperate for a few paychecks. It certainly does not feel like a place for a career to start.

Pros

Decent pay. Decent benefits. Good PTO policy. Employee-owned company.

Cons

Training is woefully inadequate. Advancement is inconsistent, and it is extremely common for high-performing employees to be promoted and then subsequently demoted through no fault of their own, due to internal restructuring (loss of a contract, offshoring, outsourcing, ETC). This has a devastating impact on morale, and management does not seem to care.
