Pros

Good benefits and 401(k) with low employee premiums

Cons

Executive management has failed this company. Some male executives are self-proclaimed "alphas" and extremely sexist. "Make sure the pretty girls are at the tradeshow booth to attract people." "She doesn't need that big of an increase, her husband's family has a lot of money." Actually, all the executives are male….albeit the required by law female BOD members. Other executives are aware of this behavior and when claims were made, including by HR, they. were. let. GO. Top leadership has ZERO experience in leading anything. Respect has been completely lost, except by the alpha cronies that are kept close by because "they are loyal".

Pros

This is a company with great potential. Great products in a high growth market with good people to execute. Also have good distribution partners and relationships in the industry.

Cons

Upper management is the biggest weakness. Specifically, the CEO has no clue how to manage or motivate people and makes short term decisions solely based on stock price. In many ways, this company is sacrificing its long term heath to meet a quarterly target. When nobody can wave a magic wand to make the market recover, the CEO resorts to micromanagement, thinking that if you look at something long enough and with enough eyes, it will change. It is a demoralizing management style and one that will limit the long term success of the company. Swap out a few key people at the top and this company could be very successful. Also, be sure to innovate in the right markets. Don't always chase the shiny objects, sometimes the biggest gains are growing the markets where you already have a strong presence.
