Pros

Company is publicly traded and is < 100 employees offering a unique opportunity to be hands on with growing the company in an agile environment. Company has fascinating technology and very smart people working in all departments; many of which who have built careers in other well-known, Fortune 500 companies. Management is rather hands-off and is seeking "owners" who can drive their own direction in their teams which benefits Airgain as a company. Work schedule is rather flexible or fully remote depending on your position. The expectation is for you to get your work done and to take the initiative. There are snacks in the office, and they just started catering lunches 4x/month.

Cons

There is a lack of overall structure with process and rigor around current processes. The good news is there is the opportunity to improve, and management is open to the ideas. Company is going through growing pains. Culture is in the process of developing, but I see the company making an effort to create a great place to work.

Pros

This is a company with great potential. Great products in a high growth market with good people to execute. Also have good distribution partners and relationships in the industry.

Cons

Upper management is the biggest weakness. Specifically, the CEO has no clue how to manage or motivate people and makes short term decisions solely based on stock price. In many ways, this company is sacrificing its long term heath to meet a quarterly target. When nobody can wave a magic wand to make the market recover, the CEO resorts to micromanagement, thinking that if you look at something long enough and with enough eyes, it will change. It is a demoralizing management style and one that will limit the long term success of the company. Swap out a few key people at the top and this company could be very successful. Also, be sure to innovate in the right markets. Don't always chase the shiny objects, sometimes the biggest gains are growing the markets where you already have a strong presence.
