Pros

Great medical benefits and there are still a few great people that work here.

Cons

Leadership lacks direction and does not know how to communicate strategy. They express goals but provide no involvement in the roadmap to achieving those goals. The CEO has bouts of micro-management and passive-aggressive tactics. He won't ever ask questions or talk to you directly, but will instead send others to ask the hard questions. There are severe gaps in the communication chain among upper leadership and the process by which information is filtered down to lower staff.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, however I am sorry to hear of your experience with Airgain. As you have experienced, Airgain operates like a startup requiring our teams to pivot their direction and put Airgain in the best position forward with our business. Any communication gaps that have been created are completely unintentional, not permanent, and are part of our growing pains with being a lean company on its growth path. With Airgain being less than 150 employees globally, we look to our team members to have a voice to close any communication gaps and build the functional processes to best support Airgain and its direction. We do appreciate your comments and will take them into specific consideration when adding rigor to our processes.

Pros

This is a company with great potential. Great products in a high growth market with good people to execute. Also have good distribution partners and relationships in the industry.

Cons

Upper management is the biggest weakness. Specifically, the CEO has no clue how to manage or motivate people and makes short term decisions solely based on stock price. In many ways, this company is sacrificing its long term heath to meet a quarterly target. When nobody can wave a magic wand to make the market recover, the CEO resorts to micromanagement, thinking that if you look at something long enough and with enough eyes, it will change. It is a demoralizing management style and one that will limit the long term success of the company. Swap out a few key people at the top and this company could be very successful. Also, be sure to innovate in the right markets. Don't always chase the shiny objects, sometimes the biggest gains are growing the markets where you already have a strong presence.
