Very much like a fraternity, if you're not one of them then they out you. You ask for assistance from your team, they ignore you or don't want to teach you everything because they want to keep their position safe. Management (not executives...will get there) don't understand the basics of their department, no assistance, rather watch you drown and fail than to help and push you to succeed. No structure in place. Now to the executives, they need to have most of their hands help and spoon fed to do anything. Being in meetings with them and they need to have the executive assistant click on JOIN MEETING on the screen because they "don't know how to join a meeting" is just sad. This is a technology company and yet the heads of it can barely understand the basics. Being told to you will be able to work remotely some days of the weeks, yet finding out you are not going to be working remotely is ridiculous.
