Pros

Great products. Great work/life balance. I’ve grown a ton in my role. The company is doing fantastic and there’s a really respectful culture among staff.

Cons

Very corporatey attitude toward promotions. People seem to get promoted after a couple years if they’re at all good and it’s always one level up. Things are going well so every one’s staying and it’s led to some clutter at the top. Lots of directors and vps. I still think it’s a productive place to work but I could see us getting too too heavy

Pros

Research backed literacy curriculum is strong and engaging. This is a product that people trust and their is a level of cache in being trained in it.

Cons

The onboarding process is quite rigorous. You are capped at the hours it ”should” take you to complete each assignment. They grossly underestimate that time and will not pay you of it takes longer. This is my personal experience and validated by multiple PLSs who say the same thing. Additionally, for a role that requires someone to have obtained at a minimum a bachelors degree, and in many cases a masters degree, you will get paid minimum wage while training. After training, they don’t offer many assignments although the ask you to keep your calendar open.
