Pros

My first time being part of an organization that continues to support my professional career growth and work with teams on their personal growth. Whether it's courses you want to take, hobbies, and of course family.

Cons

Just like any company there are seasons where there is high volume and high pressures and those pressures can be overwhelming.

Pros

Research backed literacy curriculum is strong and engaging. This is a product that people trust and their is a level of cache in being trained in it.

Cons

The onboarding process is quite rigorous. You are capped at the hours it ”should” take you to complete each assignment. They grossly underestimate that time and will not pay you of it takes longer. This is my personal experience and validated by multiple PLSs who say the same thing. Additionally, for a role that requires someone to have obtained at a minimum a bachelors degree, and in many cases a masters degree, you will get paid minimum wage while training. After training, they don’t offer many assignments although the ask you to keep your calendar open.
