Pros

Customer Base, Co-workers, Fast-paced, Product Samples You meet and deal with some of the most down to earth vendors and customers. It's the cannabis industry, everyone partakes so it's like a unspoken bond with everyone you meet.

Cons

The company is heading down the wrong path, they're requiring more, paying less, and setting unrealistic goals. There is little to no marketing support but the question is ALWAYS "What do we need to do to drive visits?" Senior leadership needs a reality check on how to treat people, you'll be showered with praise when you're running ragged but as soon as you burn out you'll be looked at like you need to be replaced even though really all you need is some of the PTO you accrued and couldn't take. Budtenders are no longer allowed vendor swag, seriously... On top of low pay, expensive insurance, no tips, lack of work/life balance, they stopped allowing swag.

Pros

Advanced from entry-level; Occasional free cannabis sample (not often enough, though); Not amazing pay, but keeps the lights on, evolving company is cool but very corporate, benefits but are heavy pulls from your wages. Overall, its cannabis from clone to sellable product so it was amazing experience to receive, despite the leadership/corporate dissonance. And the friends along the way were also great, a cannabis industry with some good hearts.

Cons

Corporate constant changing/demanding things; pay barely high enough, doesn't scale well for responsibilities; toxicity that was hard to weed out; some favoritism that tends to happen in a lot of places, as well as the drama/cliques; benefits are heavy burdens out of your wages you need to live then the benefits don't cover that much; etc. A handful of those classic corporate infected company, with some few good parts and people.
