Pros

Unlimited, free snacks and beer, when it's available.

Cons

* Their job titles are not updated to the job market, i.e. .NET Developer vs Software Engineer or Solutions engineer, although this is a more subjective point. * Their tech focus shifts every six months. * Their idea of developer leadership is to throw groups into a pit and see who bubbles to the top. This leads to a lot of nepotism and support for internal social groups, rather than any real leadership development and career growth. * Company shifts its business model based on big pharma focus, which leads to long work hours, i.e. 60 hour weeks, working weekends, etc. If you have a life or a family, you will quickly be overwhelmed by the lack of that consideration by leadership and, those without a life, moving ahead of you. * Technical stack is diverse, without much room for depth in any one tool. As a result, being a small company, overall technical career growth stagnates. * Rapid turn-over, due to points above, makes it difficult to learn from you peers and leads to a dimmer career outlook within the company.

Pros

Remote work is pretty much all this company has going for it.

Cons

Everything else Lack of communication, each "team" is allowed to incorporate "company policy" however they want - or honestly not follow it at all. There is no over site from AssistRx, the team directors are allowed to do whatever they want it seems, even when employees voice concerns about lack of communication, lack of clarity, lack of consistency, etc there is no one to really report this to. Everything is done half baked, they (AssistRx) released new resources this year where you can report concerns, client contract violations, ask compliance questions, etc. It looks great on the email, but when you go to use any of the resources "access required" message appears, you request the access and it never comes..... very interesting.
