Pros

Possible remote work - not a guarantee and depending on the team they will dangle it in front of you like a carrot.

Cons

Your calls are “graded” to a un-verifiable standard, if the grading team so much as doesn’t like HOW you say something it’s at their discretion to take off points. Those points or what make you eligible to work from home, eligible to let you stay working from home, eligible for quarterly bonuses. You can attempt to appeal the deduction but again, it’s up to QA discretion so they very rarely take the points back!! launces are stressful, rushed, and poorly executed. Unfortunately, it somehow was the general employees fault that we were not doing well or not meeting quotas that the client wanted. When in all actuality, it was poorly designed and maintained from the start. I was not told that I would have to get additional state licenses for this position, which I was happy and willing to do. UNTIL Assist RX made US front the money $1,500 on day 2 of starting they were like, oh, yea, you HAVE to do this (NOT part of my job offer), they wouldn’t charge it to a company credit card, or any other means of the company fronting the money. THEN they thought it was acceptable to tell us it would be a 6 to 8 week turnaround time for us to be reimbursed for the money, as you may guess that did not go over well with all the nurses on this new launch team so all of them refused to get licenses until the reimbursement was better. One of the big heads of the company got involved and personally pushed through the reimbursements so that they happened in a timely manner. BAD communication The nurses were put on the phone system with all the non nurses and expected to take and handle the non-nursing calls until it was a problem because we didn’t know WHAT we were doing since we were not hired or trained for those roles (it was very painful). They also tried to change our work from home requirements AFTER the team “launched” and was working, people freaked out so they didn’t succeed, BUT they tried (which is shocking and so wrong). LThey also wanted RN’s to do medication training without patient consent, tried to say that we weren’t really utilizing/ activating our licenses so it was “ok” (mind you we had to get additional licenses to work here). Someone requested review and it was changed to needing patient consent, but she had to push really hard and make some serious noise for anyone to listen. The nursing board should have probably been called to be honest, it was that bad. Hitting the marks is a moving target that feels impossible to hit. How-to guides were not released until like 6 weeks after launch, some guides are STILL not available. Seriously do not work here, they grew too fast and do not have a clue how to manage this. It’s an absolute mess! They will LIE in the interview/ recruitment, get EVERYTHING in writing! This place is a HR nightmare

Pros

Remote work is pretty much all this company has going for it.

Cons

Everything else Lack of communication, each "team" is allowed to incorporate "company policy" however they want - or honestly not follow it at all. There is no over site from AssistRx, the team directors are allowed to do whatever they want it seems, even when employees voice concerns about lack of communication, lack of clarity, lack of consistency, etc there is no one to really report this to. Everything is done half baked, they (AssistRx) released new resources this year where you can report concerns, client contract violations, ask compliance questions, etc. It looks great on the email, but when you go to use any of the resources "access required" message appears, you request the access and it never comes..... very interesting.
