Pros

After some of the recent negative reviews, I felt compelled to write about my opposite experience at AssistRx. Ever since the leadership change last year things have been much, much better. Teams are smaller and more productive, but also quickly show who might need help. There are a lot of really talented devs to work with and learn from. The culture is great with beer cart fridays, nerf gun fights, and several company parties throughout the year. We have been updating our stack over the last year to handle the explosion of work coming in and it's been exciting to work with some of the latest technology in our industry. I would recommend ARX to anyone who is looking for a fun place to work in Orlando where they can use their skills to the highest potential.

Cons

It shouldn't have taken new management to let go of toxic under-performers who were leaching off other developers, but better late than never like many shops.

Pros

Significant opportunity to grow at a company with real momentum in the life sciences services space; The work genuinely matters by helpful patients access life-changing therapies; Teams are collaborative and open minded to big ideas that can transform what the organization delivers; Leadership is focused on team member success and career growth

Cons

Fast moving environment is not ideal for those who need significant structure; With rapid growth, cross organizational alignment takes effort by all stakeholders; The space we serve is complex and takes work to educate prospects and talent.

Pros

Remote work is pretty much all this company has going for it.

Cons

Everything else Lack of communication, each "team" is allowed to incorporate "company policy" however they want - or honestly not follow it at all. There is no over site from AssistRx, the team directors are allowed to do whatever they want it seems, even when employees voice concerns about lack of communication, lack of clarity, lack of consistency, etc there is no one to really report this to. Everything is done half baked, they (AssistRx) released new resources this year where you can report concerns, client contract violations, ask compliance questions, etc. It looks great on the email, but when you go to use any of the resources "access required" message appears, you request the access and it never comes..... very interesting.
