Pros
None, unless you care about making a marginal amount of money more than is typical for a teacher.
Cons
1) No respect for teacher time, work over 50 hours a week many weeks, last minute additions to schedules, some teachers forced to work saturdays with comp days they cant use until end of year. Teachers often get no lunch breaks. Teachers will work til 7PM then expected to come in next day at 7 AM. They offer "flex" time, but this is a scam, as they frequently say you cant have it and that it is an honor, not a privilege. 2) You will perform roles that you didnt sign up for, teaching whatever subject they want you to with no warning, sometimes an hour before class starts. You will then be coached on your performance and told you should have prepared earlier despite it not being possible. 3) Management are heartless, dont care about staff or students during Covid pandemic. All the worst parts of charter schools on steroids.
