Pros

Great health insurance Able to use flex-time weekly

Cons

Staff will say a lot of educational buzzwords without knowledge of what it really means or how to truly implement them. - For Example: Restorative Justice-- this school has no idea what that really looks like or entails Leadership shows favoritism towards staff and depending on if they like you will determine your experience at the school. Black women are mistreated. We receive the least amount of support in the classroom. We are treated like children and most of the time the children are treated better. Leadership treats teachers as if they are incompetent and dumb when most of us have more experience and degrees in education than they do. The organization is run by tons of narcissists who need to humble themselves. Many of them will appear to care about the kids, but the decisions made show they only care about their money.

Pros

Health insurance, opportunities for growth, high pay, free $2,000 to cover co-pays, employee paid healthcare, changes based on data review, smart scholars, opportunities for extra/co-curricular stipends, up to 16% bonus after 1 year, every year.

Cons

Changes based on scholar need, but it is always with their best interest.

Pros

the education is ok and it’s improving somewhat

Cons

Very unorganized in multiple ways, Hire Staff that are very disrespectful and when you address the issue to higher ups nothing actually gets resolved due to the fact that they are short staffed since many teachers are quitting. They make unnecessary rules that anyone would think for a school is ridiculous they need to change. Said they were going to make a high school building years ago (still hasn’t seen anything)
