Pros

* Hard-working, smart, international people * Focus on great design * Not afraid of ditching legacy codebase in favor of latest technologies * Friendly atmosphere * People are approachable, also management * Flat hierarchy, not a lot of overhead * Company is doing well, we're growing * Nice free lunch with lunch lady who sets everything up * Regular borrels (drinks) at nearby hotspot (Amsterdam Roest)

Cons

* R&D department has struggled with periods of high turnover. * CEO is a Sales guy through and through which can cause friction with R&D department. * People come from all over, so during the day you are speaking and/or listening to "Lingua Franca" English. * Product is struggling to get mature; we're doing well, but that is also thanks to our consultants who fix issues with the product in the project phase. There seems to be a bit more time now to fix bugs, which is nice and necessary. Hopefully we can get to a phase where fixing bugs and doing thorough testing is part of every release, with less pressure on delivery dates. * Because of medium/high turnover combined with quick release cycles, R&D staff doesn't have deep knowledge of the product nor of the history of the product. * Because of flat hierarchy, career opportunities are not as endless as in bigger companies

Pros

One of the best jobs I've ever had. Unfortunately my role got cut due to layoffs but I would have stayed here for years if that weren't the case. Great autonomy to employees, great collaboration, communication and organization. Good leadership.

Cons

Unexpected rounds of layoffs, but it was the case in tech for a while.

Pros

not many exist for sales execs in the US

Cons

lack of product fit in US market, leadership changes direction and strategy often, sales rigor is off the charts (MEDDPICC on steriods, etc)
