Pros
-Fully remote -Hourly pay is decent -Friendly staff
Cons
-Very poor communication on project statuses -Very poor communication on employment status I honestly don't understand why I was treated the way I was. I was a reliable, kind, collaborative copywriter, but their staffing setup was confusing. There was little to no onboarding, just people contacting me with asks, immediately. And I was happy to fulfill those asks, but I was never sure who my point person was. As soon as they brought me on, they relied on me heavily for one of their biggest projects. They even made it known they were interested in bringing me on full-time. After not hearing for weeks about the role status, I inquired — only to immediately be sent a rejection. It wasn't long after that they removed from all work platforms. I still, to this day, have no idea why I was treated the way I was, considering we have some peers in common. Not to mention, they used a good amount of my copy for their final deliverable, and I never received any negative feedback. I was really bummed, as I had high hopes for the place.
