If you're applying to Benelynk with no prior call center experience, be aware: your starting rate will follow you, even if you outperform others, get promoted, and take on leadership roles. Meanwhile, others with more experience - even if they don't advance, underperform, or stay in the same position - will earn more than you, and the company is perfectly okay with that.
Everyone goes through the same training, is held to the same metrics, and expected to contribute at the same level. But your compensation will be locked behind how much experience you had before joining the company - not how well you do once you're here.
Even more frustrating, if you're applying from Puerto Rico, experience suddenly doesn't matter at all. Everyone there is paid the same flat rate, regardless of background (and is the lowest one offered for the same entry level role) - yet they're expected to perform identically to their mainland counterparts. It feels like location-based and experienced-based justifications are used inconsistently depending on what's more convenient for the company at the time but under the guise of "Cost of Living."
Benelynk claims to be pro-growth and pro-employee, but my experience tells a different story. Promotions don't guarantee pay equity. Leadership roles don't mean you'll earn more than the people you oversee. If fairness, recognition, and internal mobility matter to you - look closely before signing on.
