Pros
This was once a great company with an awesome culture. Management communicated well. The company recognized, respected and rewarded employees, and made employees feel valued and appreciated. Those efforts contributed to a very high level of productivity and engagement. Pay was average, but benefits were fantastic!
Cons
It’s the fastest 180 I’ve ever seen a company do. Old management team left and replacements did not have the experience needed to take the company to the next level. Trajectory and culture totally changed and a lot of those things most valued by employees no longer exist (like transparency!). A lot of “change fatigue” from shifting strategies, multiple layoffs, etc and ultimately a sale disguised as good news. It’s not good news for back office roles!!
