Pros

Great company culture, excellent benefits, amazing perks in a studio that actually cares about you as a human being. Bungie works hard and plays hard; some teams do crunch but that is the reality of the game industry. Personally I haven't had any Bungie imposed crunch since my team has been demolishing our workload at a good pace, but I have stayed an evening or two to polish a feature or content that I was particularly passionate about. + food, drinks and snacks in the kitchen + low/few crunch hours depending on team + they do pay bonuses and profit sharing, was the other reviewer not FTE? + family events - movie nights and summer picnic + bagel Fridays + low drama + people can respectfully disagree on designs or features and not get petty about it like some other companies + QA is very supportive and is valued more than at other companies (trust me I've worked a lot of QA) + great medical/dental benefits for families + amazing gifts/perks + work with a ton of smart people who are passionate about the game they are working on + they do provide parking, again my guess that the other reviewer was not FTE + new hire lunch perk helps introduce new employees to the large studio

Cons

I share the feeling from another reviewer that some of the people at Bungie are operating as old Bungie and sometimes that can affect decisions with the game. + gain some weight from new hire lunches + "safe" decisions are sometimes made when sometimes it's ok to make the bold decision and let players have a little fun + I'm grasping for negatives because I adore working here. If you think it's a rough place to work, jeez I feel bad for you when you go elsewhere. Every other place I have worked had lower pay, longer hours, and would be ready to drop you as soon as the game launched.

Pros

The people are what made working at Bungie amazing, a lot of very smart & talented people.

Cons

A massive talent drain over the past three rounds of layoffs. Lots of fumbled bets by past leadership that lasted long after they left. The benefits used to be stellar but got reduced year over year after Sony acquisition due to 'belt tightening' & aligning to Sonys benefits. Future is very questionable for the studio.
