Pros
This isn't a big consulting firm with defined career tracks and a whole lot of rules. Do well on your campaigns, get great client referrals and be open to moving around. If you can do these three things you will do well at CCS. There are a lot of resources at CCS but you have to be PROACTIVE. Even though you are alone, make connections wth other directors. It is tough to go through an entire assignment with just the support of your supervisor. CCS recognizes that their directors are always away from home and are very generous with medical benefits and per diems. As other reviewers have said, ask for what you want. Everything is negotiable once you have proven yourself.
Cons
For some people the biggest con is being away from home for months at a time. If you get lonely on the road or are not interested in living in a hotel for 3 months this probably isn't the job for you. CCS is a little old school and I am often surprised that they don't have established processes for things. No annual bonuses for directors.
