Company Status - Analyst COGECO Employee Review

In recent years, the company has gone through several rounds of layoffs, which have affected even long-tenured, high-performing employees. Unfortunately, the criteria used to determine who would be let go were not made clear, and employees were simply given the message that their position was no longer needed. These layoffs were executed without cause, as allowed by the terms of the employment agreements. While I hope these layoffs have come to an end, it’s worth noting that there has been no official communication or public explanation regarding the reasoning behind these decisions.
