Pros
COWI North America offers a place for doers to be heard and get recognized. If you are capable you will be given a chance to drive projects and lead the work. COWI NA employees are sharp and hard working, with a commitment by many to go the extra mile on every project. The upper echelons of management have gone through some turbulences in the last few years, leading to some frustration by some, but the current team is vastly more capable. The last 18 months have given me confidence that the long-term strategy is sound. Regional leadership shows genuine care for the employees, and is putting resources behind their commitment to changing the status quo. I think the best is yet to come.
Cons
COWI North America is a medium sized company and fom an employee's standpoint, projects can sometimes appear to focus on a few select areas. However, things are changing fast, with more high-profile projects coming up online in Mexico, Canada and the US.
