Pros
Getting to interact with the clients and their families everyday. Seeing the kids progress was the biggest motivating factor. They are the whole reason ABA exists 🤍
Cons
Upper management slowly continued to go downhill as the company continued to expand. New policy changes every week. Some expectations were not clearly communicated and people were punished for that. As the company expanded it slowly became more evident that the focus was more on money and profit than on the kids and their progress or getting them the adequate support that they needed. At one point (I think it’s happened twice since the company opened) they offered staff gift cards if they left positive reviews. They could leave multiple and would get a gift card for every review. Meanwhile there were requests made for clients that were denied due to budget issues. There also were continued threats of disciplinary action for any errors. So it felt like you were under a microscope and they were waiting for you to fail. Just a general lack of support that continued to decrease.
