Pros

* Flexible working hours in general * Union support

Cons

My experience was of: * Poor training and development opportunities * Lack of communication from leadership - staff never seemed to be consulted on strategy or business priorities. The 'Employee Forum' was a glorified internal communications channel, rather than a genuine two-way exchange of dialogue between staff and senior leaders. *Frequent uncertainty and instability with the threat of restructuring on the horizon. * Toxic relationship between Management and the Union * Lack of support or guidance from HR department. * Disregard for the charitable purpose and mission of the organisation. * Promotions and new jobs created for 'favourites'. * Tired and ugly office and equipment

Pros

Used to be a strong brand with great products to sell to customers and see them succeed.

Cons

Now it's micromanaged with lots of reporting on why every side of the business is collapsing.
