Pros

Not much. Holidays are slightly more generous but you will be needing those more than any other employer because conditions are so bad.

Cons

One of the worst places I have ever worked. Senior management are marked out by a lack of understanding bordering on mental health conditions. Unfair recruitment, blame culture and appalling organisations skills are notable day to day features. Even worse when this problems are highlighted or abuses found a sort of Catholic church culture permeates confounding existing problems. Attempts to undermine the union are transparent leading to a breakdown in communication. Illegal behaviour is also commonplace due to a lack of understanding of the law on HR's part. Chris Jones couldn't be a more out of touch money grabbing idiot who single handedly is managing to bury the company. Note on his linked in profile he spells grammar school 'grammer school' which is indicative of his general idiocy and incompetence. His main fundamental flaw is a lack of interest in what his company actually makes, that is qualifications. Until he increases funding in that area and stops appointing his gravy train mates with dubious HR procedures I fear things will not get better there.

Pros

Used to be a strong brand with great products to sell to customers and see them succeed.

Cons

Now it's micromanaged with lots of reporting on why every side of the business is collapsing.
