Pros
The work was remote, good hours
Cons
While the managers are effective salespeople, it’s important to highlight some significant concerns for anyone considering joining the team. Unfortunately, I found that day-to-day support was lacking, with a primary focus on profit rather than employee development. The owner's approach to hiring and firing was particularly troubling; employees can be let go suddenly, often without clear communication or support. I experienced being terminated via email without a follow-up discussion, which left me feeling undervalued and confused. As a full-desk recruiter and business development professional, I found the low salary combined with a starting 2.5% commission structure to be not worth the effort, especially given the high turnover rate I observed. One colleague even mentioned that she typically avoids getting to know new hires, as they often don’t last more than a few months. This reflects a concerning culture that doesn’t promote a positive work environment. I hope sharing this insight helps others make informed decisions about their career paths.
