Non- Profit.. can be fulfilling when able to help a client; they do try but fall short; strangely do not consider solutions.
Cons
Non-Profit-Low pay to job requirement ratio pay. Lack of support, lack of communication, difficulty finding out what other programs within the agency provide, and lack of comradery and teamwork. ABOVE ALL, prepare to feel INVISIBLE.

We're sorry this position was not a good fit for you. It has been our goal, especially since the pandemic, to bring our positive culture back. We have a fairly new and great management team committed to supporting and leading our wonderful team forward.

The administration genuinely cares about worker morale and provides two parties, bonuses and cost of living increases, and thank you gifts regularly throughout the year. They encourage vacations and offer the best benefits possible. Definitely the most incentivized nonprofit I've ever worked at.
Cons
Nonprofit world problems-- too much need, not enough budget. Not making what I'm worth, tend to get overloaded easily even with administrative support, and the fear of budget cuts are always looming.
You get paid in the summer time to work. Because being an aide or para for a school district you don’t get paid and have to find a different job for the summer. So that’s the nice part of the company. They also pay for a CDA.
Cons
Heavy micro management, Shady and low budget unprofessional place to work, Company is more for the parents and less for the teachers and the children. I have never been written up or fired at this company but they enjoy writing people up constantly to eventually fire them if they don’t like you. There is no union or back up for anyone they try to target. There is never a pay raise and they manipulate you and tell you to get a better score on your classroom if you want a pay raise. They also make people work over time or more hours for people who called off a lot or didn’t show up. Even if it wasn’t you. They throw around the word child abuse a lot and document about you secretly to build a case or a piece of writing about you.
