WORST COMPANY EVER

Pros

Nothing. Whole place is terrible.

Cons

The company sucks as a whole. Upper management and the staff at the main office get paid 6 figures and get all the praise. While the teaching staff make terrible pay barely enough to survive and get crapped on daily. You receive no support from anyone, you are your own supporter. The Destiny site is by far the worst of them all. Site supervisors have huge favoritism. The love the ones who don't know how to do their job, the ones who yell and abuse the kids. And they crap on the ones who do their jobs. The company no longer pays for the insurance you have to pay for it. CEO is from Walmart and doesn't know what the heck she is doing. While I was there I had 6 different supervisors, and we lost half the staff on 4 months and yet destiny got approved to open another classroom, yet it doesn't have the staff to provide the teachers breaks. You get written up over the littlest of things. No over time allowed at all. You can't have relationships with families outside of work or you get fired. Management only cares about the CACFP as that is where all the funding comes, they couldn't care less about the children. You can get fired for anything, even having medical issues and they will fire you. If you want to be miserable everyday and get treated like garbage then this is the place for you.

Pros

Non- Profit.. can be fulfilling when able to help a client; they do try but fall short; strangely do not consider solutions.

Cons

Non-Profit-Low pay to job requirement ratio pay. Lack of support, lack of communication, difficulty finding out what other programs within the agency provide, and lack of comradery and teamwork. ABOVE ALL, prepare to feel INVISIBLE.

We're sorry this position was not a good fit for you. It has been our goal, especially since the pandemic, to bring our positive culture back. We have a fairly new and great management team committed to supporting and leading our wonderful team forward.
