Pros

Not much micro-management. There is plenty of work.

Cons

The management seems to make up the rules as they go. Policies change daily to suit the situation. When hired I was told I would work a specific shift, but was then assigned to a different shift. The direct manager does not seem to know what the Field Techs job is. The next level management implements rules that are impossible to follow, which then get contradicted by the first level manager.

Pros

- Easy once finding a rhythm - Decent pay for entry level position - Good hands-on experience to prepare for higher level positions

Cons

- Very repetitive - Can get boring after a few months - No guarantee for yearly raises

Pros

Management is very nice, contract client was good

Cons

low pay, benefits expensive and not very good. PTO was low. Benefits included paid holidays but my contract was at a university and a lot of holidays did not count, including Juneteenth and Martin Luther King day. Also had to use PTO during winter break, which ate up most of my PTO every year.
