Pros

- Flexible work schedule allowing work from home - Salaries are good but those who have half a brain can see that that isn't going to last much longer with the merger. - Work with some truly brilliant people despite being continuously hamstrung by antiquated technology and tools

Cons

Rudderless Ship comes to mind firstly when thinking of working here. From middle-management upwards there is a huge disconnect all the way to the top. Tons of ineffective, irrelevant Managers, Directors and VP level executives stifling growth by creating a sea of bureaucracy to justify their own existence. The culture is still that of the individual and not the collective - and good luck trying to spearhead a project or task that involves any sort of collaboration whatsoever as you must manage your way through the 5 managers of the 5 people you are allowed to work - who might not even be the right people you need to complete your task. When you do have a task be prepared for the areas you cross functionally work to have inconsistent, sloppy, undocumented processes at every turn. Lots of empty promises from senior management, with a severe lack of professional development and career progression plans. Promotions and hiring generally frozen from a merger that took place over half a year ago, unless that job is overseas.

We appreciate your positive comments about flexibility and compensation. Our teams work hard to ensure that our employees have what they need to do their best work. Your choice to call us a "rudderless ship" is unfortunate and harsh. Mergers and acquisitions are common in the corporate world, and these are typically complex and difficult to manage. Having worked in this organization's many forms for more than two decades, I have seen our senior leadership plot a course for success and propel us toward the goal. Clearly, the nearly $5 Billion purchase price of the former Cotiviti business demonstrates the ability to create value for clients through knowledgable and dedicated teams. You have the option of discussing your concerns with your manager or with your HR business partner. Cotiviti also offers an anonymous employee concern hotline, and we certainly encourage you to share your feelings and observations.
