Pros

-- Getting a Paycheck. -- The Insurance is actually pretty good.

Cons

-- You really, I mean really have to earn your paycheck here. -- Total incompetence. Zero Training. Zero tools. Infinite expectations. Watch out for your hours. Very low mentality people out to get you, you can't trust anyone especially not the management. Sure there are some good honest people there. -- Bottom line is they give almost everyone the job of 2-4 people and expect them to do it with less pay and less hours and with a big smile. -- Luck of the draw could be different for you but my experience: A waste of time if you're looking to build a career. -- They will set you up to fail and put the blame on you without batting an eyelid and will not care if their company suffers as a result. Zero training, zero tools, and infinite expectations. Some of the people here are totally insane if it wasn't for the economy they would have nobody to work for them period.

Pros

Working at Crescent Hotels offers an exceptional opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. The company is led by an ownership group that genuinely cares about its properties, guests, and team members, creating a culture built on support and respect. Employees are encouraged to learn all aspects of hotel operations, providing valuable hands-on experience and a well-rounded understanding of the hospitality industry. Crescent is also committed to career development, offering outstanding training programs and advancement opportunities that help team members achieve their professional goals. In addition, employees enjoy competitive healthcare benefits, a strong retirement savings plan, and excellent travel benefits, making Crescent Hotels a great place to build a long-term career.

Cons

Like any hospitality organization, there can be challenges such as ongoing maintenance needs and periods of being short-staffed, which can place additional demands on team members. At times, there may also be a need for greater support and communication between ownership and property-level teams to help create a stronger buffer and ensure operational concerns are addressed efficiently. However, these challenges can also provide opportunities for employees to develop problem-solving skills, adaptability, and leadership experience.

Pros

I was going to give up on hospitality as a whole due to poor management from other properties I worked at, but I saw this position open online and decided to give hospitality one more chance. The second I walked in for the interview, I knew it was the place for me. I have been here for 8 months and I love this job. I am happy here and I love working with my coworkers. I am always happy to go to work and I give it my best. I appreciate the praises, but most importantly the areas where I can improve.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons of working here. I really love it here.
