Pros

+ Good salary + Great people (mostly) The salaries at Cymer are somewhat competitive, and the people you work with are super helpful for the most part.

Cons

- No work/life balance - The best and brightest (largest contributors) are leaving at an alarming rate. This is generating more work for those that remain as their replacements can't work at the same pace as their predecessors. - Most people are stressed and overworked - Incompetent management - Not enough doers (and too many managers) It's not uncommon to only spend a few hours with your family every week. Many doing the most work are leaving the company due to frustration caused by the incompetence of their managers. Since there is a frustrating lack of people actually performing tasks or making a real difference at the company, the few capable people are always overloaded. Many managers seem to not have enough to do.
