Pros
Good scientists. Very good at what they do. However that doesn't seem to be good enough to make EUV work.
Cons
Anyone outside of core R&D theoretically fills a 'transactional' role at Cymer and liable to be classified as deadwood at the next round of layoffs which isn't usually far away in the cyclical semiconductor market Top heavy, finger pointing culture President is a micro manager- promotes yes-men and fires those who hold their line. No career path unless you are on of the select few. HR is ineffective Terrible work/life balance
